Wolves are usually portrayed as scary creatures with ferocious hunting abilities and supreme senses. In fact, in a recent movie called “The Grey,” Liam Neeson is battling wolves in a survival story based in Alaska I believe. Also, movies such as Twilight and various other halloween movies depict wolves as creatures with supernatural powers and a somewhat inherently evil nature. This is probably due to the eyes of a wolf which have a high amount of animal shine, and also due to their savage growl and baring of teeth when threatened.
